The campsites at Power House Ranch are nestled in the tress along Thurston County's Salmon Creek.  Salmon Creek is a tributary of the larger, slow flowing Black River and boasts the presence of Cutthroat, Rainbow Trout, Largemouth Bass and Blue Gill.

Campers are invited to make use of our outdoor kitchen.

Campers are invited to make use of our covered outdoor kitchen (grill, flattop, and smoker), enjoy our lawn game collection (Cornhole, Giant Jenga, Connect 4, Ring Toss & more), try your luck panning for gold on the banks banks, or suspend hammocks and slacklines among the Fir, Cedar and Maple trees.

Guests of our ranch are invited to relax creek side at our open firepit.  Free firewood is available on-site for burning in the community pit.

Campers are invited to enjoy the fire ring when seasonal burn bans are not in place.

The water and proximity to nearby preserves attracts birds, rabbit, deer, and other friendly wildlife. Drift off to sleep at night to the sounds of frogs croaking and coyotes howling in the distance. Our homestead is conveniently located near county hiking trails, Black River National Wildlife Refuge, Mima Mounds Natural Preserve, Capital Forest, and Millersylvania State Park.
